Maybe it didn't make the national news. but it made headlines here at North Palm Beach Life. PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality -- it had its start in Tampa in 2009) brought back their zucchini fries, and we wasted no time making a run to the West Palm Beach location on Okeechobee to get some.
We've been fans of their chicken tenders for some time, but it was their zucchini fries ($4.99) that got us there in the first place. Strands of zucchini, fried crispy and paired with one of their signature sauces -- it's fast food heaven.
Good news -- they are just as good as we remember. So how long will they be here this time? No way to know, but we just have to invoke what's become our mantra: Carpe diem. --Gerry Barker
